As of that date, all Unified Program responsibilities in San Jose will be handled by Santa Clara County CUPA: this includes the Hazardous Materials Business Plan Program; Underground Storage Tank Program; APSA Program; and Unified Program billing and permitting activities.

Effective 7/1/2011 the City of San Jose is no longer a Unified Program Agency. All Unified Program responsibilities within San Jose are now handled by Santa Clara County CUPA: this includes the Hazardous Materials Business Plan Program; Underground Storage Tank Program; APSA Program; and Unified Program billing and permitting activities.
Mandatory electronic reporting of Unified Program Consolidated Form (UPCF) data will be required by 1/1/2013.

Effective 9/22/2009 the Unidocs HMOIP was retired. It became the new California Environmental Reporting System (CERS), managed by CalEPA.
Details.
CERS Login. On 1/1/2009, the City of Palo Alto transferred regulation of UST systems to Santa Clara County CUPA. All other programs handled by Palo Alto Fire Dept. remain unchanged.
